Cross-Braid
Braided cords provide stable cross-sectional shapes — round, square, or rectangular — ensuring excellent sealing and dimensional accuracy. Commonly used for furnace doors, hatches, and flanges, their dense braided structure offers durability, strength, and reliable performance in high-temperature environments.
Over-Braid
Over-Braid cords feature a soft, flexible core wrapped in a braided outer layer. This construction provides excellent elasticity and conformability, making them ideal for sealing uneven surfaces, doors, and hatches. The overbraided sheath improves handling and offers mechanical protection to the core, while also enhancing overall stability.
Knitted
Knitted cords are produced by interlooping yarns into a flexible and compressible structure. This design provides excellent adaptability to uneven surfaces and easy installation in narrow or irregular gaps.
They are suitable for low-pressure insulation and sealing tasks — such as furnace doors, thermal barriers, or enclosures in heating and ventilation systems.
Twisted Cords
Twisted cords are simple, cost-effective sealing solutions made by twisting yarns into round or slightly irregular shapes. They offer basic flexibility and are easy to install, making them suitable for low-pressure applications such as insulation gaps, stove joints, or door seals in heating equipment.
Net-Braid
Net-Braid cords feature a soft core enclosed in a loosely braided outer mesh. The open structure minimizes material weight and cost while providing basic mechanical protection. Ideal for thermal insulation applications where high flexibility and breathability are required, such as sealing cavities or covering pipes.
Coated Cords
Covered cords are braided thermal cords coated with silicone or graphite. The coating reduces dusting, improves abrasion and chemical resistance. Graphite enhances sealing, adds glide on moving surfaces, and protects the outer layer from wear. Ideal for furnace doors, cable protection, and clean, durable sealing.
