Type C packings are manufactured from carbon or graphite yarns and are designed for operation under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. They offer excellent chemical resistance and deliver top-level performance compared to other sealing materials available on the market.

These packings are used in metallurgy, thermal and nuclear power plants, petrochemical installations, steam pipelines, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, and high-pressure pipeline valves. In non-oxidizing environments, graphite packings can withstand temperatures up to +2500 °C, making them indispensable in the most demanding and critical industrial applications. It is important to note that graphite is less resistant to strong oxidizing media, so material selection must match the specific operating conditions.
