IZOLOCK Type G

Sealing Solutions for Extreme Heat and Industrial Gases

Packings of Type G are developed for sealing applications exposed to extreme heat, industrial gases, and furnace environments.
Made from mineral-based fibers such as fiberglass and basalt, and impregnated with PTFE or graphite, these packings are designed to withstand temperatures where conventional materials like rubber or gasket sheets fail.

They are ideal for sealing hot gas lines, coke oven doors, furnace hatches, and flanges with surface irregularities or poor parallelism — where flexible, form-adaptive sealing is critical. Type G packings provide thermal resilience, chemical resistance, and stable sealing performance in the harshest industrial conditions.

Type G - Product Line

Explore the complete range of Type G packings engineered for extreme temperature and gas sealing applications.
Instead of traditional property tables, we present key performance data as clear and easy-to-read diagrams — so you can quickly compare models and find the best fit for your needs.

Below are the available models from the Type G product line, each listed with its key technical characteristics: base fiber type and impregnation system. This format allows for quick technical comparison and easy selection of the most suitable packing for high-temperature gas sealing and industrial thermal applications.
